Transmission covers screws and couplings, torque limiters that break the torque path on overload, protecting motor and gearbox, and roller splines that transmit torque and guide linear travel on one shaft.

Guidance covers linear guides and cross roller guides, the latter trading ball point contact for roller line contact- high rigidity and accuracy over short strokes.

Rotary support covers crossed roller bearings-radial, axial and moment loads in one row, the usual answer for robot joints and rotary tables-constant cross-section thin-section ball bearings, which hold section as the bore changes, and ceramic bearings.
